Setup

ICO Settings Configuration

Once you deploy your ICO, you will see the ICO setup page with comprehensive configuration options. Each green button represents a contract call that will invoke your wallet (e.g., Metamask) to approve the transaction. Below are the detailed instructions for each section:

Basic ICO Settings

ERC-20 / BEP-20 Token Address

Enter the contract address of the token you want to sell in the ICO. This must be a valid ERC-20 or BEP-20 token address. Once set, click the copy button to copy the address or use the refresh button to validate the token contract.

Wallet

This is the Ethereum address or EVM-compatible wallet address that will receive the funds from ICO contributions. Enter the desired wallet address in the input field, then click 'Update Wallet' and confirm the transaction in Metamask to change the receiving wallet address.

Distribution Wallet

This is the address that holds the tokens to be distributed during the ICO. The tokens for sale must be approved from this wallet. Enter the distribution wallet address, click 'Update Distribution Wallet', and confirm the transaction in Metamask. Remember to approve token allowance from this wallet for the ICO to function.

Token Distribution Rate (per Ether)

Set how many tokens contributors will receive for each Ether (or native coin) they send. Enter the desired rate (can be decimal or integer), click 'Update Distribution Rate', and confirm the transaction in Metamask. This rate cannot be changed once the ICO receives its first contribution.

Contribution Limits for Ether

Set the minimum and maximum contribution limits in Ether. Enter the minimum amount in the 'Min' field and maximum amount in the 'Max' field, then click 'Update Contribution Limits' and confirm the transaction in Metamask to apply the new limits.

Advanced ICO Settings

ERC-20 Payment Tokens

Configure additional payment methods beyond Ether. You can add multiple ERC-20 tokens that contributors can use to participate in the ICO.

Add Payment Token

To add a new payment token: 1) Enter the ERC-20/BEP-20 token address, 2) Set the exchange rate for this token, 3) Configure minimum and maximum contribution limits for this specific token, 4) Click 'Add payment token' and confirm the transaction in Metamask.

Whitelisted ICO

Toggle this switch to enable or disable whitelist functionality. When enabled, only whitelisted addresses can participate in the ICO. Click 'Update Whitelist Settings' and confirm the transaction in Metamask to apply changes.

Update Whitelisted Accounts

Manage the whitelist of allowed participants. Use 'Batch Update' to upload a CSV file containing addresses to add or remove from the whitelist. Set the 'Batch Size' to control how many addresses are processed in each transaction. Click 'Add to Whitelist' to include addresses or 'Remove from Whitelist' to exclude them, then confirm each transaction in Metamask.

Token Delivery Settings

Configure when and how tokens are delivered to contributors. Toggle between immediate delivery and post-sale delivery. When 'No post-delivery' is selected, tokens are sent immediately upon contribution. Click 'Update Delivery Settings' and confirm the transaction in Metamask to apply changes.

Time-Based Settings

Timed ICO

Toggle this switch to enable time-based ICO functionality. When enabled, the ICO will only accept contributions within the specified time frame.

Opening Time

Set the date and time when the ICO will start accepting contributions. Use the date picker to select the opening date and time.

Closing Time

Set the date and time when the ICO will stop accepting contributions. Use the date picker to select the closing date and time.

Update Time Settings

After setting the opening and closing times, click 'Update Time Settings' and confirm the transaction in Metamask to apply the new schedule.

ICO Control Actions

Approve Funds

You can approve any token amount greater than or equal to zero for distribution. If you approve zero tokens, the ICO will be paused until you approve additional funds. Click this button and confirm the transaction in Metamask to approve token allowance.

Pause / Resume

Control the ICO status by pausing or resuming operations. Click the 'Pause' button to temporarily stop the ICO, then confirm the transaction in Metamask. Later, you can resume the ICO using the same process.

Finalize ICO

Located in the Danger Zone, this action permanently ends the ICO. Once finalized, the ICO will halt all activities and cannot be restarted. Click 'Finalize' and confirm the transaction in Metamask to complete this irreversible action.

Important Notes

  • Always ensure you have sufficient ETH or native coins in your wallet to pay for transaction gas fees
  • Some settings (like token address and distribution rate) cannot be changed once the ICO receives its first contribution
  • Test all settings thoroughly before launching your ICO to the public
  • Keep your private keys secure and never share them with anyone
